"For three years I have been the special correspondent of the Transitalia Marathon, an extraordinary off-road motorcycle touring event, a non-competitive one of a kind in Europe, a touristic tour with rally navigation formula with one goal: to discover and learn about the traditions of the Italian territory and how good wine takes three years to fully appreciate it!

This third year has been full of pleasant emotions and collaborations. I met Noemi Izzo and Mirco Urbinati, owners of the Minoa Group Sas and organizers of the Transitalia Marathon, in 2018 during the Italian FMI Maxienduro & Scrambler Championship and a great friendship and esteem was immediately born that immediately saw us complicit in several projects like this one of the 'special correspondent, together with Giovanna, of the Transitalia Marathon.

Thus was born the idea of participating in this edition of 2021 with a splendid BENELLI LEONCINO TRAIL 500 which is anything but a specialist, precisely to demonstrate how fascinating it can be to face an off-road adventure of over 1000 kilometers really within reach. all. The BENELLI LEONCINO was the motorbike I used in 2018, the year in which I got back on the bike by participating in the FMI Scrambler & Maxienduro Championship.

The goal of the Fantaroby correspondent is to forge synergies with all the administrations, the Mayors, the commercial and artisan activities that are touched by the passage of the Transitalia Marathon caravan and to coordinate with all the STAFF in real time I had the opportunity to use the U-com16 intercom equipped with Mesh technology, capable of connecting up to a group of 24 intercoms… exactly what was needed !!!

At the Rimini village I met the extraordinary Team of the Cellularline Interphone Company
and it was an opportunity for Elvis to install my U-com16 on the Scott 350 EVO PLUS enduro helmet. Impeccable work with maximum precision and here I am ready to go on the journey, first of all connecting with the staff on the motorbike."

"The U-com16 really has a lot of technical features, very useful and practical such as almost all of the device management with voice commands that, combined with the windproof microphone, turn into a fantastic tool which, combined with the 40mm HD Top sound speakers and the audio equalizer you get crazy communication quality.

During the Transitalia Marathon 2021 I focused on the use of Mesh 2.0 technology for open dialogue to all those who were close to me within a 1.6 kilometer radius, thanks also to compatibility with all SENA systems, to chat, joke and / or alert in case of small unforeseen events. Furthermore, with the smartphone I connected the bluetooth to the GPS navigator and this, on some occasions, allowed me to exit the Transitalia Marathon track and anticipate the arrival of the participants at the refreshment points set up by pro loco and traders, documenting the enthusiasm and the great welcome generated by the event all this with my hands firmly on the handlebars and concentrating on driving.

Listen to music through local radios to be informed about the area in real time and learn, for example, that on 25 September 2021, 4th stage from Bolsena to Nocera Umbra, the world dream day is celebrated.

Travel? FABULOUS. As always Mirco and his tireless collaborators have traced an incredible itinerary that only those who have lived it in real time and shared with the over 300 participants can understand white roads, paths, asphalt, earth, gravel, mud, climbs, descents, woods, mountains, plains, villages and castles wrapped in suggestive postcard landscapes.

It was exciting to see the people who, as in every "tour of Italy", greeted us, smiled and welcomed us with open arms. We raised dust and made “noise” but we all appreciated and respected this immense open-air museum called Italy, with its history, culture, landscapes and food and wine, values shared at each end of the stage in convivial moments of great exchanges of emotions.

We left Rimini on 22 September 2021 and in 4 stages (Rimini-Castiglion Fiorentino / Castiglion Fiorentino- Casciana Terme / Casciana Terme-Bolsena / Bolsena-Nocera Umbra) we arrived in the blink of an eye in Nocera Umbra where we knew we were welcomed from a great, great party that however marked the end of the dream on the day world dream day, the world day of DREAMS.

Don't worry ... Mirco told me that he has already dreamed and seen both the 2022 and 2023 editions ... I told you that he is the number 1 of DREAMERS ".
