Many are the unforgettable names and many are the champions who over the years deserve a place.

LET'S BEGIN...

GIACOMO AGOSTINI

Giacomo Agostini is by far the most successful rider in the history of the World Championship, as well as the most successful Italian. He made his debut in the international circus in 1963 and ran until 1977 winning 15 world titles, competing in the 350 and 500cc classes. After a short period on the saddle of an official Moto Morini in the 250 class, he landed in MV AGUSTA, where he remained for 9 years and established his dominance. In 1974 the rider from Bergamo moved to Yamaha, where he managed to win 2 other world titles, respectively one in the 350 and one in the 500 class. In total he disputed 190 races, of which 162 podiums, 117 fastest laps and winning 123.

KENNY ROBERTS

He was nicknamed "King" or "Martian" because of his unconventional riding style and his ability to establish himself in the World Championship. In 5 years as an official rider he won 3 world titles from 1978 to 1981, and then retired at the end of the 1983 season after losing by just two points.Roberts was a Yamaha flagship throughout his career, the livery of his bike was famous, in the official coloring of the US branch of the Japanese house.

MIKE HAILWOOD

Also known as Mike the bike, he is defined as one of the greatest bikers ever with 76 victories in the world championship.
Mike's incredible career was not limited to two wheels, but he also participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans obtaining a podium and 49 Formula 1 Grand Prix. In 1973 he managed to save Regazzoni's life from a fire following a serious accident, this incredible gesture earned him the King George Medal, the second most important decoration in the United Kingdom.

ANGEL NIETO

Angel Nieto, winner of 13 titles or rather "12 + 1" as he loved to tell in a somewhat superstitious way. Always considered the king of small displacements, his debut was in 1964 riding a Derbi 50 on the Montjuich circuit in Barcelona. 90 Grands Prix, 139 times on the podium, sporting awards and even a corner dedicated to him at Jerez de la Frontera make him a true legend for motorcycling lovers.
 

KEVIN SCHWANTZ

The Texan, who competed in the 500 class from 1986 to 1995 with an unmistakable driving style thanks to his past in the cross world. In the paddock he was known as the "kamikaze driver", nothing stopped him, due to his frequency of ending up in the gravel in order to pull off stronger than his opponents. Among these, how not to mention Rainey and Doohan.
On his retirement the number 34 was withdrawn by the Motorcycle Federation.

MICHAEL DOOHAN

Australian driver 5 times world champion in the 500 class with aggressive driving.
In 1994 he became World Champion getting on the podium in all the seasonal Grand Prix, winning 9 GPs out of 14 total. He will win another 4 world championships, triumphing in 34 GPs over the next 4 years. In the 15 GPs of the 1997 championship, his perfect year, he took home 12 wins, 2 second places and a retirement. In 1992 at the Assen circuit he was the victim of a very serious accident, which was resolved almost by a miracle in the best possible way.
 

JARNO SAARINEN

Extraordinary driver and technician, with 15 wins and 32 podiums characterized by a life as a wanderer and a tragic death. He also became very famous among the spectators of the races, for his typical style of driving with the leg open inside the curve traveled. Talented champion who still lives today with Renzo Pasolini in the hearts of two-wheelers who remember that fateful day in Monza.
 

CARL FOGARTY

Also called King Carl 219 races run and 4-time Superbike World Champion with a high-speed cornering style of driving combined with aggressive competitiveness.
Its history is particularly linked to the Ducati world and for the Ducati fans, the image of Fogarty is identified with his icy eyes peeking out from behind the visor on the start
