We know that exploring the world on two wheels allows us to see places and landscapes with different eyes, appreciate them and experience them more intensely. Today the motorbike traveler Alex di Muzio speaks to you, who in the company of his friend Sasaplanet has explored one of the many breathtaking places of our beautiful country, the Amalfi Coast.

“When my friend Salvatore (Sasaplanet) offered me to be my guide in his land, driving a motorcycle, I didn't think twice. Once in Naples, welcomed by the classic southern hospitality, we go to pick up our travel companions, respectively a Ktm 1190Adv R and a Honda Africa Twin, kindly loaned by two friends.

The program for the next day is simple, to discover the Amalfi Coast, one of the most famous places in Italy, both for its characteristic villages and for the coastal road overlooking the crystal clear sea.

A route that offers an extraordinary mix of naturalistic and architectural beauties of the region. An itinerary that can include an infinite number of detours and program changes, you will soon realize how it is worthwhile to give in to curiosity and visit every cove and every village that you will come across.

In addition to being exciting, tackling this route on a motorcycle has many positive sides. The Amalfi Coast is a very narrow road, busy with all types of vehicles and drivers.
Especially in summer it is a very popular destination, it becomes so difficult to move from one location to another, find parking and enter the historic centers, which is why a two-wheeled vehicle is the perfect choice."

"We decide to take the more classic itinerary, the one that most travelers choose to visit the Amalfi Coast by motorbike.
A route of about 50 kilometers, along the SS163 state road.
We then start from Sorrento along the southern coast of the coast, through the most famous locations and the most fascinating villages.
The stops that I would like to suggest, certainly not to be missed in this corner of paradise are: Positano and Amalfi, the most characteristic, famous and known villages all over the world, Praiano, the Fiordo di Furore, Conca dei Marini, Atrani, Ravello , Minori and Maiori, Cetara and the typical anchovy sauce and, finally, Vietri sul Mare, famous for its decorated ceramics.
It is useless to try to describe the beauty of these villages, I leave you just a few photos to fuel the desire to visit this paradise."

Absolutely not to be underestimated are all the beauties that we can admire between Naples and Salerno, themselves, in turn, tourist destinations attacked every year by hundreds of thousands of tourists.
A special mention to Pompeii and its ancient city buried by an eruption of 79 AD.
In Castellammare di Stabia, the Quisisana Palace and the Medieval Castle are worth a visit.
Let's not forget, Capri, Ischia and Procida.

Within a few hundred kilometers we have endless possibilities, both to have fun with our bike, but also for a cultural visit, that's why I fell in love with this land. "
