If even in winter you can't get your motorbike to hibernate, here are some quick tips for you!

If the arrival of winter with its low temperatures does not scare you, if you are unable to greet your beloved friend on two wheels even in cold periods, then this article is for you!

The days are shorter, there is less light and visibility is reduced and road conditions are more difficult, including wet, ice and possible snow.
It is therefore essential to have some precautions to experience the bike safely.

To some it may seem obvious but prudence must always be our faithful travel companion, it is better to press the accelerator a little less and pay more attention. But now let's get started ...

1) Clothing

On a motorcycle in every season, one thing is certain: freedom of movement is essential! It is therefore not recommended to dress like an onion, with layers and layers of clothing that limit the practicality and comfort of gestures in the saddle.
Just good technical clothing, better if waterproof, worn with a thermal garment underneath to ensure protection from low temperatures and comfort.

But we also think about the extremities, hands and feet. Always having our hands on the handlebars we have to keep them warm, this is possible thanks to a nice pair of gloves, perhaps equipped with protective padding on the fingers and palm and longer to cover the sleeves as well.

In addition to important gloves, also socks and boots, let's remember that on a motorbike it is always better to go with accessories designed specifically for this passion and a good pair of boots is always better than a simple gym shoe.

The socks are better if they are thermal to avoid the accumulation of moisture inside the boot and circulatory damage caused by low temperatures, even rain shoe covers can be useful.

2) Lighting

If you use the motorbike for your daily commutes, you certainly can't help but ride it even when the sun is gone, and alas, in winter the hours of sunshine are very few compared to other seasons.
So how do you always have good road visibility?
Our LED motorcycle spotlights, ECE R112 approved, increase the safety and performance of your motorcycle's lighting system, also giving it a more adventure look. They are water resistant, rustproof and with a practical design, designed in anodized aluminum to ensure maximum durability.
Their assembly is quick and immediate and we will guide you step by step here.

3) Tires

In this list they can certainly not miss them, the tires.
Better to equip yourself with thermal tires, M + S or MST marked with a symbol of the speed category not lower than M, essential on motorcycles and scooters for greater safety and more grip, especially in very cold temperatures.
However, those who decide to mount specific tires for winter on their vehicle, once the reference period is over, must necessarily return to summer tires, which are safer and more performing with mild temperatures.

4) Intercom

Perhaps for some it may seem like a useless and only cluttered accessory, but it is far from that!
An intercom is very useful not only for listening to the indications of your GPS navigator, your playlists and the radio but also for receiving and making phone calls quickly and promptly communicating difficult and unexpected situations.

5) Maintenance

One thing is certain: in every season, carrying out a mechanical check on your bike is essential to be safe while riding.
It is recommended to carry out a total check-up to check the status of the battery, particularly stressed in this season, of the electrical system, the level of fluids, the brakes, lights and electronics.
