Since 2003, the Ducati Multistrada has always been talked about, is it perhaps due to the futuristic design of the first 1000 Ds which debuted at the Milan Motor Show in 2001?

A bike with sports performance but capable of remaining practical, comfortable and versatile like a road enduro, this was Ducati's philosophy to "amaze" the market.

The first series, on the market from 2003 to 2010, born from the pencil of Pierre Terblanche, debuts with the 1000 DS and the S version with Öhlins suspension and other racing elements fitted as standard.

Then, from 2005, the Multistrada 620 will be added, lower engine volume but also lower weight and better handling.

Since 2007, the 1000 DS has given way to the 1100 DS, improving the delivery and torque of the "desmo" and equipping it with a Euro 3 exhaust system.

Since 2010, the second series of the Enduro Stradale of Borgo Panigale makes its debut, which comes with more modern and aggressive lines, capable of making you forget the little digested ones of the first series.

There are many innovations, riding modes and electronic suspensions, but also the ride by wire, without forgetting the 1198 cc "Testastretta" which releases 150 hp.

In 2013 the 1200 was updated, but in 2015 it took a decisive step forward, both in terms of safety, with ABS CORNERING but also in terms of performance, with the DVT engine that boasts 160 hp and 135 nm of torque.
The new inertial platform manages all the electronics in the best possible way, ensuring perfect management of the vehicle.

2016 and 2017 present to the public the new 1200 Enduro, dedicated to off-road use, and the Multistrada 950. The younger sister is equipped with the same engine as the Hypermotard 939 while maintaining first-rate features as per Ducati philosophy.

In 2021 the fourth generation was born, the new Ducati Multistrada V4.
The V4 makes a clean break with the past, first of all the engine abandons the desmodromic distribution, the trellis frame gives way to an aluminum monocoque and the rear swingarm becomes double-sided as on the Enduro and 950 models.

Perhaps the most striking novelty presented by Ducati in a world premiere is the front and rear radar system that allows the use of Blind Spot Detection and Adaptive Cruise Control.
